Edit Object Text
Insert a new or edit an existing (simple) text object.
A textbox is defined by coordinates of a point, the font type a rotation angle and an alignment to the given point.
| Setting | Description |

| Position | Distances may be given as absolute (cm) or relative values (%) measured from a border or the centre of the useable area. |
| Text Rotation and Alignment | The text rotation is given in degrees (Rotation). The alignment of the text relative to the given point is in textheight and textwidth direction (Alignment X, Alignment Y). |
| Plotter pen | is used to set color, linetype, and thickness |
Variables may be used for the text using the drop down arrow or by inserting the variable in angle brackets directly instead of a static text.
